In the dead of night, the Foo Fighters tweeted a link. At first glance it may have seemed like the veteran rockers were just reminding everyone they have an official website. What they were really doing was pointing everyone to a countdown timer on said website. And we have no idea what it's counting down to.

The page features a statue of a dog, the Foo Fighters logo and a ticker that'll zero out on November 23 at midnight. The URL is currently lobby.foofighters.com. There's a looping soundtrack of people chatting and seemingly kinda just hanging out.

Everyone in the world already has a theory (live album? Tour? EP with Ben Kweller?), and smart money might be on the aforementioned sequel to November 2014's Sonic Highways album, which also spawned an HBO docu-series. We'll be watching for clues and keep you posted.
