Hours after two stars of Clueless reunited on the 2015 American Music Awards stage, another 1995 superstar, Alanis Morissette, took over the show to perform her classic single "You Oughta Know" with modern pop phenom Demi Lovato.

Morissette started off the performance solo before Lovato strolled in from the back of the stage to start trading off lines from the pissed-off anthem. The vocals were a bit soft to capture the full power of the alt-rock gem, but Alanis and Demi made the final chorus count and received a huge ovation.

"You Oughta Know," of course, comes from Morissette's blockbuster 1995 album Jagged Little Pill, which won the album of the year Grammy award. Lovato performed the duet a little while after rocking "Confident," from her new album of the same name, at the AMAs.
