Word's been bubbling that Guns N' Roses may truly reunite, as in original-lineup-reunite, sometime soon. The GNR chatter has touched on everything from festival headliner speculation to Slash/Axl Rose make-up rumors. A source that's two degrees or so away from the band also explicitly teased the news when confronted by paparazzi.

Now Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx is emphatically saying it's a poorly kept secret, and that it's on:

The official Guns N' Roses Twitter has nothing to offer its 1.9 million followers except cryptic reactions.

The original GNR lineup consists of Axl Rose, Steven Adler (exited in 1990), Izzy Stradlin (split in '91), Slash (peaced out in 1996) and Duff McKagan (adios'd in '97). The current lineup is Rose, Dizzy Reed (since 1990), Tommy Stinson and Chris Pitman (both '98-ers), Richard Fortus (2001) and Frank Ferrer ('06). Buckethead, Bumblefoot, Robin Finck and Matt Sorum have all spun through the revolving door along the years.
