Justin Bieber just shattered a chart record previously held by the Beatles (and shared by Drake): the Biebs has 17 songs on this week's Hot 100 chart, smashing the Fab Four's record of 14 simultaneous entries on the singles chart.

After the Beatles set the record in April 1964, Drake scored 14 Hot 100 hits at the same time in both March and October of this year. Bieber set the bar even higher, as 17 of the 18 songs on the deluxe edition of his new album, Purpose, hit the Hot 100 upon the album's release. Thanks, streaming!

The 13 concurrent debuts on the Hot 100 is also a chart record for Bieber, and by logging three songs in the Top 5 ("Sorry" at No. 2, "Love Yourself" at No. 4 and "What Do You Mean?" at No. 5), Bieber becomes just the third artist ever to do so, after the Beatles and 50 Cent. Oh, and Bieber's Purpose scored the biggest album debut for a male artist in 2015.
