Lil Boosie/Boosie BadAzz took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce that he has cancer and to ask for prayers. In a since-deleted caption, the 33-year-old Baton Rouge rapper wrote, “I need all my fans to pray for me Doctor just told me I have cancer on my kidneys prayer is power that’s why I’m letting the world know prayfaboosie.”
Lil Boosie debuted as a teenager with 2000’s Youngest of da Camp. The father of seven spent five years in jail from 2009 to 2014, initially having been sentenced to eight years for drug-related charges.
