Major LazerDJ Snake's "Lean On" (featuring MØ) is now more than an international hit: it's a record-breaking international hit.The Bollywood-aping electro-dance track has been named Spotify's most-streamed song ever.

The streaming service announced that, since its March 1 release on the platform, "Lean On" has accrued 526 million worldwide plays. Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud" was the previous record holder.

"Lean On" only peaked at No. 4 of the Hot 100 chart, but has hung around the Top 20 for months in the U.S. while gaining a massive global audience and 766 million YouTube views. The song comes in at No. 19 on this week's chart, in its 31st frame on the tally.

Major Lazer mastermind Diplo scored another Top 10 hit this year with his Skrillex and Justin Bieber collaboration "Where Are U Now," while DJ Snake found huge success last year with his Lil Jon team-up "Turn Down For What." MØ, the voice of "Lean On," recently issued a new solo single, "Kamikaze," that was co-produced by Diplo.
