According to at least half of One Direction, the group's upcoming hiatus is not "goodbye," it's "see you later."

On Saturday, the pop sensation wrapped up their On the Road Again Tour at England's Motorpoint Arena, which marked their final concert before the band takes an extended hiatus next year. However, Niall Horan took to social media after the show to clarify that the band's comeback will be inevitable after a "long holiday."

After the show, 1D's resident Irish member responded to a fan who asked, "Do you promise to come back?" where he dismissed news reports that the band was breaking up:

Earlier this month, Liam Payne also clarified the band is "taking a break" on Twitter, giving fans hope that the group will continue on even though the band's last live trek felt like a celebration of the end.

With the tour officially wrapped, fans can prepare their screams for the band's upcoming performance of "Perfect" at the 2015 American Music Awards on November 22.
