Sia is starting the week off right: after announcing the release date to her new album This Is Acting and sharing its cover art on Monday (Nov. 2), the singer-songwriter has dropped a new single to follow the already-released “Alive.” Listen to “Bird Set Free,” which was released on Tuesday.

The concept of This Is Acting is that the track list is composed of songs Sia wrote for other artists; “Alive” was originally penned by Sia, Adele and Tobias Jesso Jr. for Adele’s new album, for instance. Sia has not announced who “Bird Set Free” was intended for, but with the careful piano intro and swelling chorus, it wouldn’t be a shock if this one was also an Adele castoff (and another strong one at that).

This Is Acting is due out Jan. 29, 2016, and Sia will perform this Saturday on SNL. Two weeks later, her “Alive” pal Adele will take the Saturday Night Live stage.
