Corey Taylor is a busy guy. When he's not fronting Slipknot, doing voiceover work for Doctor Whosmacking a WWE wrestler in the face or calling out Kanye West, he's doing his rock-and-roll thing in Stone Sour. The group is very much a metal band, which makes their decision to cover the Bad Brains punk classic "Sailin' On" a really interesting one. Check it out above.

The tune arrives on Taylor and co.'s upcoming, vinyl-only EP, Straight Outta BurbankAccording to Alternative Press, the band will try their hand at Iron MaidenThe Rolling StonesMötley Crüe, and Slayer as well. The release arrives November 27.

This will be Stone Sour's second covers EP. The first one, Meanwhile in Burbank..., was released in April of this year, and featured covers of MetallicaJudas PriestBlack SabbathKiss and Alice in Chains.

The Bad Brains cover arrives after the iconic group's guitarist, Dr. Know, was hospitalized and place on life support. His condition is no longer considered critical.
