Super Star Wars, the SNES game from 1992, is making a surprise comeback tomorrow, November 17. The make-you-throw-your-controller-in-abject-frustration classic will become digitally available on both PS4 and the PS Vita, which may be Sony's final Playstation-brand handheld.

Here's the official word:

"Enhanced for PS4 with new save features, leaderboards, Trophies, and updated display and controller options. Risk your life as a Jedi Knight! Join Luke, Han, and Chewbacca in their fierce war against the evil Empire."

The game is largely a side-scroller, although you've got a few space battles in there, too. It was followed by 1993's Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and '95's Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Those ones were crazy hard, too.

Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens is one month and two days away. Expect tons more tie-ins before then. You heard they're doing deluxe vinyl releases for all six soundtracks, right?
