While it's been exciting to watch CL make moves on her own in America this year (from high-profile collabs to magazine covers), many fans were rightfully worried about the future of 2NE1 as the group hadn't been seen together in nearly a year. Well, supporters can rest easy, as the girl group made a surprise reunion performance at the 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards in Hong Kong. And it was fierce.

CL was previously announced to perform her new track "Hello Bitches" at the ceremony and gave a rousing rendition of the track that recalled its intense video. But the song was curtailed when the stage went dark. Before viewers knew it, the individual members of 2NE1 shot up from under the stage: Dara, Minzy, Bom and then CL, with the crowd giving extra cheers for Bom, who the public has seen very little of this year.

The ladies slayed their debut single "Fire," along with their signature hit "I Am the Best" with a ton of energy and sassiness.

It was not only the super-entertaining performances you'd expect from 2NE1, but an awesome reminder that this girl group isn't going anywhere, no matter where in the world their individual activities take them.
