Alabama Shakes wound up on Fuse's Best Songs and Best Albums of 2015 lists not just because they're one of the most rock bands of our day, or because of Brittany Howard's mind-boggling strength as an entertainer. No, it was the songs on their sophomore effort, Sound & Color, that really did it. Each one is rich, packed, powerful and creates its own type of fun.

So basically any chance we get to see a performance, we take. Today's opportunity is "Gimme All Your Love," a version that will open the 41st season of Austin City Limits. Check it out up top, thanks to Stereogum.

Sound & Color is nominated for Album of the Year at the 2016 GRAMMYs, squaring off against Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp a ButterflyTaylor Swift's 1989the Weeknd's Beauty Behind the Madness and Chris Stapleton's Traveller. The Shakes' record garnered three other rock-oriented nominations and two more for engineering and production.

Stereogum writes that the new batch of Austin City Limits episodes will feature Kendrick Lamar, Leon Bridges and a dozen others. Watch Alabama Shakes rock the Sabbathian epic "Gemini" and the Sound & Color single "Don't Wanna Fight" below.
