Pop singer-songwriter Johnny Stimson spent time in 2015 opening on tour for Tori Kelly, receiving effusive praise from the blogosphere and working on new tunes for a 2016 album. One of those tracks, the delightfully rhythmic “Easy,” has been given a globe-trotting video, premiering exclusively here at Fuse.

Directed by Aris Jerome, the “Easy” clip finds Stimson guiding the song’s stuttering beat over sprawling plains, a deserted beach and a U.K. phone booth, among other locations. For the emerging artist—who has been mentored by Elton John and recently joined Rocket Records in the U.K.—“Easy” represents the logical next step in his mainstream-friendly career.

“’Easy’ is about gentlemanliness,” says the Dallas native. “Taking care of everything you need and letting you relax. Big harmonies, big bass, and big melodies, all to say, 'I've got you covered.'"
