Timbaland will put a bow on 2015 when he releases a new mixtape, King Stays King, on Christmas Day. The legendary producer has also confirmed via press release that the collection will feature a previously unreleased Aaliyah song.

The 16-track mixtape will feature guest spots from Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan and Mila J, along with a posthumous offering from Timbo’s close collaborator Aaliyah. Timbaland, who was instrumental in the musical success of the TV show Empire this year, last released a solo album (Shock Value II) in 2009.

In addition, a brand new full-length titled Textbook Timbo is on its way for a 2016 release. Fans of Timbaland will be able to see him perform in clubs next month.
