First Tony Bennett, now Elton JohnLady Gaga has made a habit of collaborating with some of the most legendary male artists of all time.

On Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show on Tuesday (Jan. 19), John confirmed that he’s writing with Lady Gaga this week. He also gave hungry Little Monsters a preview of Gaga’s highly anticipated next solo album.

"I've heard two songs, which are killer,” said John (via NME). “They're just great songs. It's like back to the early stuff of hers - like 'You and I' and the Bruce Springsteen one (as I always call it), 'Bad Romance'."

Lady Gaga earned an Oscar nomination for “Til It Happens To You,” her song from The Hunting Ground soundtrack, last week; earlier this week, songwriter Linda Perry questioned the veracity of Gaga’s songwriting contribution to the track. Win or lose, Gaga can still bask in the triumph of her Golden Globes victory.
