Things are developing fast in the Iggy Pop + Josh Homme department. Last week we learned they'd made a secret album, Post Pop Depression, with the Arctic Monkeys’ Matt Helders and Homme's Queens of the Stone Age bandmates Troy Van Leeuwen and Dean Fertita. When they hit The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to debut "Gardenia," things heated up. When the record's opener, "Break Into Your Heart," premiered Monday on Beats 1, things hit full boil.

Now there's a live performance of that track as well, also from Pop and Homme's visit to Colbert. Check out the commanding live version above, then try out the studio take below.

Post Pop Depression is set for a March 18 release. Iggy Pop hasn't released a solo album of original material since 2009's PrĂ©liminaires, although he dropped Ready to Die with the Stooges in 2013. He and his new bandmates are planning a very limited tour for Post Pop Depression.
