On Wednesday, a report arrived saying Janet Jackson had undergone vocal surgery, with cancer rumors quickly proliferating. Janet had transparently discussed the potential of surgery on Instagram a week prior, and she quickly hit Twitter last night to use her own prophetic lyrics from the Unbreakable single "The Great Forever" to dispel the rumors.

"Not too pleased with what you're diggin' / I'm just busy livin' my life," the track begins, with the lyrics scrolling in a Twitter video. "Sources say but where ya gettin' it / Don't create the truth you like."

At the end, the direct comment from Janet:

"Remember...believe it when you hear it from my lips. The rumors are untrue. I do not have cancer. I'm recovering. My doctors have approved my concerts as scheduled in Europe, and as I promised, the postponed shows will be rescheduled. Thank you for your prayers and love."

The make-up concerts are planned for this spring. The intitial set of dates, in support of her first album in seven years, was astonishingly huge.
