G.O.O.D. Fridays has morphed into G.R.E.A.T. Mondays, as Kanye West has dropped a spectacular debut collaboration with Kendrick Lamar on Monday (Jan. 18). "No More Parties In L.A." was teased earlier this month and has arrived in full, at six minutes and 15 seconds.
Both Yeezy and K. Dot bring their A-games here, with bruising, personally revealing verses and West going toe-to-toe with the man many see as the best rapper in the world. "I know some fans thought I would never rap like this again/But the writer's block is over, MC's, cancel your plans," Kanye spits at one point.
"No More Parties In L.A." will presumably appear on West's Swish album, due out on Feb. 11. Other songs include "Real Friends" featuring Ty Dolla Sign, which Yeezy dropped earlier this month, and possibly the previously released "All Day," "Only One," "Fade" and "Wolves."
The new track was expected to come out on Friday (Jan. 15) but hit a snag in the final stages. West's wife, Kim Kardashian-West, explains:
