Motörhead leader Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister will be laid to rest with (potentially) thousands of fans watching, as his memorial service this Saturday (Jan. 9) will be live-streamed on the band’s YouTube channel.

In a statement to Billboard, Motörhead wrote, “Motörhead is respectfully asking that fans don't attend the service at the cemetery, but the band wants everyone to be a part of this, so they are setting up a live feed of the service via the Internet on Motörhead's official YouTube channel.”

Kilmister’s memorial service will take place at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood on Saturday, but a more boozy send-off will go down that day at the Rainbow Bar and Grill in Los Angeles.

Kilmister passed away on Dec. 28 due to complications from cancer. Motörhead has announced that it has ended with Lemmy’s passing.
