One of the biggest surprises on Rihanna's brand new ANTI album came in the form of an unannounced Tame Impala cover. "Same Ol' Mistakes" is essentially a straight take on "New Person, Same Old Mistakes" from the Australian act's excellent 2015 record Currents.

Now NME's gotten word about what psychedelic rockers Tame Impala—and frontman/sole songwriter and studio performer Kevin Parker—thinks of the result:

"The Roc Nation team got in touch with us here at Spinning Top letting us know that Rihanna loved the Tame Impala track 'New Person, Same Old Mistakes'. They asked if she could cover the song for her new record. Kevin was more than happy to send it her way. We’re all really happy with how the song turned out, love it!"
