The Summer Set Shares Emotive "Figure Me Out," Announce New Album
The Summer Set is back! On Thursday evening (Jan. 21), the pop-rock group dropped "Figure Me Out," an emotive, Jack's Mannequin-esque single that debates identity: "I'm a bit too pop for the punk kids / But I'm too punk for the pop kids," Brian Dales opens the tune. Who hasn't felt that way?
The song continues in that trajectory, with Dales discussing conversations with his dad and YouTube stardom. Perhaps he's been spending too much time with 5 Seconds of Summer's Luke Hemmings, who was quick to show support.
In addtion to the new tune, the Summer Set has announced that its next full-length, Stories For Monday, will arrive April 1 via Fearless Records. See the tracklist below.
