Tuesday night, Kanye West made his title change for his seventh album, originally called So Help Me God, then Swish, now WAVES. Wiz Khalifa, who has a baby with 'Ye's ex, Amber Rose, isn't impressed. As soon as Kanye tweeted the new title, Wiz started going in (from Argentina) on behalf of Max B, the 37-year-old Harlem rapper behind mixtapes like Wavie Crockett, A Wave Called Yes, Toothy Wavy, Return of the Wave and the French Montana collabo Coke Wave. In 2009 he was sentenced to 75 years in prison for felony murder, kidnapping and armed robbery. A$AP Rocky's 2015 album A.L.L.A. featured a track called "Max B."
Here's what Wiz had to say, followed by Yeezy's response:
Please don't take the wave.— KOE (@wizkhalifa) January 27, 2016
Max B is the wavy one. He created the wave. There is no wave without him.— KOE (@wizkhalifa) January 27, 2016
