Backstage at the BRIT Awards 2016, where she performed “When We Were Young," shouted out Kesha and collected a slew of new trophies, Adele shed some insight into her highly anticipated world tour, which kicks off in the U.K. next Monday (Feb. 29) with a performance in Belfast.

“I’m nervous!” Adele admitted in the winners’ room at the O2 Arena in London. “This was all my idea, and I’m starting to think I’m crazy to do that many shows, but I’m very excited. The show’s great—we were in production rehearsals before I went to L.A. for the GRAMMYs. It’s really exciting, really fun.

“It’s very different to anything I’ve ever done,” she continued, “because we’re in such a big room and I want to make it intimate. So I’m excited! I just want to be healthy and be good for everyone.”

On Wednesday night, Adele was nominated for four BRITS… and won all four, including British Album of the Year for 25. It was a coronation that could precede a huge night for 25 at next year’s GRAMMY Awards.

“I feel a bit worn-out, emotionally—it was absolutely incredible,” said Adele of her BRITs experience. “To be back with my new album, and to be nominated and to win… I’m very British, so it’s a dream come true.”
