Here’s a pretty fair request from Adele: Donald Trump, and every other 2016 presidential candidate, needs to stop playing or repurposing her tunes for their own gain.

Following Trump’s use of Adele’s “Rolling In The Deep” at a Jan. 21 event, a statement from the U.K. superstar’s camp has informed Trump (and everyone else) to back off. "Adele has not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning," a spokesperson for Adele tells Billboard.

If you thought Trump was the only Republican with a soft spot for Adele, think again. Who could forget Mike Huckabee’s wacky “Hello” spoof last week?

Good thing Mitt Romney didn’t use “I’ll Be Waiting” for his 2012 run…
