Blink-182 is grinding out its next album, with Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba stepping in for the newly ousted Tom DeLonge. We’ve gotten some social media teases of the band in action in the studio, and now we have a clip (courtesy of Mark Hoppus) of Skiba previewing a new song.

“What’s the point of saying sorry now?” Skiba shouts in a sing-song cadence (is that iambic pentameter?). Hopes’ caption reads, “Screamy Matt is a good Matt.” Indeed it is.

John Feldmann, who just helped 5 Seconds Of Summer with their latest studio album, has joined Blink in the studio for the follow-up to 2011’s Neighborhoods. The new album is possibly arriving this summer.
