Coldplay's Chris Martin took on the lofty task of following up Adele's amazing Carpool Karaoke stint on The Late Late Show with James Corden, and follow it up he did, singing his band's hits with Corden as well as paying tribute to the late David Bowie.
Ahead of Coldplay's Super Bowl 50 halftime performance on Sunday (Feb. 7), Martin hitched a ride with Corden (literally) and sang "Adventure of a Lifetime," "Yellow," "Us Against The World" and "Viva La Vida," among others. He also did a pretty good impression of Bruce Springsteen, and a pretty great impression of Mick Jagger.
Martin also whipped out a keyboard and sang a lovely cover of Bowie's "Heroes" with Corden. "Thanks, Dave," Martin said after the ditty.
Coldplay will play the Super Bowl 50 halftime show alongside Beyoncé at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. on Sunday night. On Tuesday, it was announced that Lady Gaga will perform the national anthem.
