Nonresidents of the Ed Sheeranverse may be blind to the fact that the li'l Brit loves to rap. We're not talking about acoustic covers of "Trap Queen" and "CoCo," either—on his own records, you'll find speedy bars sprinkled among the "Thinking Out Loud"s and "Tenerife Sea"s. ("Take It Back" is a good Exhibit A.)

So today, thanks to France’s Clique.tv, we get to witness 20 seconds of Ed Sheeran rapping Eminem's 2000 Marshall Mathers LP closer "Criminal." It's a goofy delivery, with Sheerz grinning down at his bouncing foot for the duration. Ill-advised choice to have the 20 seconds include the "I'mma be a fuckin' rapist in a Jason mask" line, but do you, Edinem.

As MTV points out, a couple years ago The Game said he'd drop a joint album with Ed Sheeran in 2015. "We were just planning to record one song; we ended up doing like seven. ... We was just going. He was on that guitar." Wonder where that is.

Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud" is nominated for Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance at the 2016 GRAMMYs. In December he announced that he's on a social media hiatus till late 2016; he's working on his third album.
