One of the first things we learned about Netflix's Fuller House was that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen would not take part. Not long after, we found out the show would make a meta reference to little MIA Michelle Tanner, giving her the life story the Olsens went on to actually live post-showbiz.

And now Fuller House is on Netflix, and now the Fuller House Michelle reference is on the internet at large. Watch it in the tweet above (hat-tip to Jarett Wieselman). It breaks the fourth wall for a long stare, which is exceptionally awkward but hey, maybe it fits in nicely with the show, we don't know, we're busy working.

So it's as simple as Bob Saget saying, "Well, Michelle sends her love, but she's busy in New York running her fashion empire." There we go. Maybe there are other references in there, too? The internet will surely let us know within the next 60-90 minutes.

On Thursday, Dave Coulier was asked about the Olsens' non-participation:

"I get it. I don’t know how much I could reconnect with something I did when I was in diapers. But I think we were all a little disappointed, because it would’ve been nice to be together again with them."

Jodie Sweetin said she "had a feeling they might not want to come back and do it." Coulier added that the twins have an "open invite" to join up, though.

Now, wash the awkwardness away with Carly Rae Jepsen's Fuller House theme song, and check out this Back of the Class podcast episode featuring a chat about our dream TV show reboots (it starts at the 26:30 mark):
