Back in July, our mouths foamed as bootleg versions of a single-take nine-minute Kanye West video introduced us to "I Feel Like That," a track we figured was bound for the album then known as Swish. The lovely, provocative AutoTune jam/spoken-word piece never ended up on The Life of Pablo, but it left a mark.

"I Feel Like That" emerged in a visual that led with "All Day." We only got to see a bootleg because the clip, directed by Oscar-winner Steve McQueen (12 Years a Slave, Hunger, Shame), premiered at a Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art event and never got a wider release till now. The ultra hi-def production "was shot in a single take at a historic dockyard outside of London," Vanity Fair reported at the time. Watch "All Day/I Feel Like That" at

We're happy to get a look at the actual piece today, but we're ecstatic to have the full, album-quality "I Feel Like That" beaming into our ears. The song is structured as three chunks of questions with an aching AutoTune chorus woven between. Stuff like this:

"While you're fast asleep, do you experience nervousness or shakiness inside, faintness or dizziness? The idea that someone else can control your thoughts, feeling others are to blame for most of your thoughts? Trouble remembering things, feeling easily annoyed or irritated, feeling afraid in open spaces or in public? Thoughts of ending your life? Feelings that most people could not be trusted? Poor appetite, heart or chest pains?"

Then the chorus: "I feel like that / I feel like this / I feel like that / I feel like this all the time." Heavy stuff from the guy who just rapped "You ain’t never seen nothin crazier than / This n---a when he off his Lexapro." Get more in our list of the 35 best lyrics on The Life of Pablo.
