Kanye West’s ‘The Life Of Pablo’ Didn't Chart Because of Tidal
It's certainly clear that Kanye West's new album, The Life of Pablo, was pretty popular. It was the talk around town—its very existence brought Tidal to the No. 1 spot in the app store—and who could forget that 'Ye sold out Madison Square Garden with an effin' listening party/fashion show? He had a laptop and an aux cord, and he sold out the most famous arena in the world. Insane.
Anyway, even with all that, it looks like we won't be seeing TLOP on the Billboard charts. The cause? Tidal. The streaming service isn't disclosing the number of streams, for whatever reason.
