The 2016 MTV Movie Awards have found their hosts: Dwayne "Do We Have to Keep Putting 'The Rock' in Quotes in the Middle of my Name?" Johnson and perennial NBA Celebrity All-Star game participant Kevin Hart. The news was announced from The Rock's Twitter feed, seen below.

Both skilled and agile performers, Hart and Johnson should not struggle in hosting the show as both cut their proverbial teeth playing to crowds, learning to read the energy of a room and responding accordingly. Also, the duo already has experience working together, co-starring in the upcoming comedy Central Intelligence due for a Summer 2016 release.

The selection seems like a net positive for all involved: Dwayne and Kevin get to promote their movie and get laughs from a national audience, while MTV gets a bump in viewership thanks to Hart being arguably the most popular working comic alive and the millions (AND MILLIONS) of The Rock's fans.

Additionally, the duo will be participating in a livestream this Saturday during which Johnson and Hart will take direction from fans in real time. Scenes from the feed will later be edited together and used as promos leading up to the MTV Movie Awards on April 10. The interactive livestream will be available on every service imaginable: Facebook Live, Periscope, Meerkat, YouTube and YouNow, beginning at 2 p.m. EST.

How does The Rock feel about the big announcement? Flames emoji.
