It looks like 2016 may be the year of Rihanna. After dropping her hit ANTI album out of nowhere last week, now it's been announced she'll be performing at this year's BRIT Awards in London later this month, on Feb. 24th. The official BRITs Twitter account announced the big news Tuesday night around 9PM ET, which is technically Wednesday, just after midnight, in the UK.

Rihanna joins previously announced BRITs 2016 performers AdeleColdplay, Justin BieberThe Weeknd, Little Mix and more. With a few weeks still to go until the big show, who knows what other performers they could add to the already impressive lineup?

Rih is no stranger to the long-running UK music awards show. This year will mark four years since the pop star's last BRIT Awards performance in 2012. She also performed in 2011, having made her BRITs debut in 2008.

Will Rihanna perform the Drake-assisted lead single "Work" (and maybe bring out Drizzy?) or perhaps an album cut? The BRITs go down just two days before the launch of Rih's ANTI World Tour, so we're excited at a preview of how she brings the album and era to life visually on stage.
