Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo is known for posting the occasional cover song (or cover song snippet) on Instagram. On Sunday (Feb. 7), he decided to take on one of the biggest songs of last year: Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen.” Imagine a Fetty Wap song showing up on Pinkerton, and you get an idea of what it sounds like.

Previously, Cuomo covered Rae Sremmurd’s “Come Get Her” on Instagram, so, yeah, he likes rap music. Remember when Weezer had Lil Wayne join them on a song called “Can’t Stop Partying”? It haunts the darkest recesses of our brains!

Weezer’s latest, dubbed The White Album, is due out Apr. 1, and will feature the songs “Thank God for Girls” and “Do You Wanna Get High?,” among others.
