Late last year, NBC announced they would be creating a reboot of classic '90s teen movie Cruel Intentions and one of the film's original breakout stars has signed on for it!

Sarah Michelle Gellar—who played Kathryn Merteuil and was stepsister to Ryan Phillippe—announced she's reprising her role via Instagram. She wrote, "Kathryn Merteuil is back!!! I am happy to say that I will be joining them (and NBC) on the new #Crueltv" posting a photo alongside director Roger Kumble and executive producer Neal Moritz.

The upcoming reboot will focus on teenager Bash Casey, the son of the late Sebastian Valmont (who Phillippe played in the original) and Annette Hargrove (who Reese Witherspoon played). No word on whether those two actors will join yet.
