Taylor Swift has reportedly donated $250,000 to Kesha, "in a show of support" for her legal battle against producer Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald and Sony, a rep for Swift released in a statement on Sunday night (Feb. 21).

The full statement reads: "In a show of support, Taylor Swift has donated $250,000 to Kesha to help with any of her financial needs during this trying time."

The show of generosity comes after Kesha's hearing in court on Friday morning (Feb. 19), where the pop star was denied an injunction that would have allowed her to record music outside of her contract with Dr. Luke. Kesha has alleged that Dr. Luke sexually, physically and emotionally abused her during their time working together.

Dozens of artists, including Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande and Halsey, have shown support for Kesha during the legal battle. Click here for a report from the scene of the fan protest outside of Kesha's court hearing on Friday morning.
