Zayn Malik’s debut solo single, “PillowTalk,” has made a big splash on the Hot 100, as the first track from the former One Direction member’s upcoming first album starts at No. 1 on the chart, Billboard revealed on Monday (Feb. 8).

The lead single from Mind of Mine, due out Mar. 25, starts at No. 1 after launching online on Jan. 29. Its steamy music video co-starring Zayn’s real-life girlfriend Gigi Hadid launched simultaneously with the song, and now has more than 60 million views.

Worth noting: One Direction, with whom Malik released four albums before splitting in 2015, has never scored a No. 1 single on the Hot 100 chart. The U.K. boy band came closest with “Live While We’re Young,” which hit No. 2 in 2012. Last year, “Drag Me Down” from the Zayn-free fifth album Made In The A.M. debuted and peaked at No. 3 on the chart.

One Direction is currently on hiatus following the release of Made In The A.M. Mind of Mine will come out on RCA Records exactly one year after Malik left the boy band.
