We're less than a week away from Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens' April 5 DVD and Blu-ray release (and just two days out from its April 1 digital release!), so why not bring Adam Driver back into the press mix? On Tuesday night (Mar. 29), he told Stephen Colbert he's not really used to the superstar status that's come with playing the modern day Darth Vader, Kylo Ren.

"I haven’t really gone outside much in the past couple of months," he said, adding:

"The kids, yeah, are great. I feel like before, parents were like 'Stay away from my kids,' and now they're like, 'Get up there and take a picture, you'll appreciate it later.' But that part of it is good, I love that part. The parents are the scary thing."

Watch Driver talk to Colbert below; you'll also learn about his background as a U.S. Marine:

Driver chatted with Entertainment Weekly on Tuesday, too, giving a rad Star Wars: Episode VIII update and comparing The Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams with the next Jedi in charge, Looper writer/director Rian Johnson:

"Their temperaments are different. I feel like there was so many moving pieces in the first one—just trying to solve it and set the vocabulary for what it was. There’s a lot of that anxiety is gone, because people have developed a language. I think it’s more of a testament to Rian coming into something very established and making it [his own]. I can’t wait to get on set, just because he’s so unassuming and intelligent and approachable. The script they’ve come up with is really great.”

He also touched on that newfound entry to the World's Most Famous People Club. “I didn’t turn into a new person,” he mused. “Nothing happened to me. But a lot of people saw it, and that was good."
