Adam Lambert, who was the runner-up on American Idol in 2009, returned to the show for likely the final time to perform “Welcome To The Show,” the new single he released on Thursday morning (Mar. 17).
Joined by his featured artist Laleh, Lambert took over the Idol stage with style and charisma. Unlike Kelly Clarkson’s heartfelt Idol return with “Piece By Piece,” Lambert exuded swagger while performing “Welcome To The Show,” which represents his first piece of new music since last year’s The Original High album.
