The People v. O. J. Simpson just aired its fifth episode on Tuesday, and the culture-waves it's sending out seem to be getting fiercer by the week. On Wednesday night's Late Late Show with James Corden, we got a four-piece viral video about the FX series.

Part one: Corden points out the unsettling preponderance of hourglasses ("I understand the need to murder someone more than I understand the need to have that many hourglasses"). Part deux: An Arsenio Hall joke. Part the third: Surprising "black people"/"white people" dialogue supercut.

Which brings us to the 3:40 mark in the video above, to Adele's "Hello" soundtracking a People v. O. J. Simpson late night telephone call scene. And yeah, it gets the same washed-out hue as the frequently viral-fied music video.

Adele memes are great, but nothing beats the original, so watch the new winner of four BRIT Awards kick off her world tour in Belfast right here, and definitely relive her Carpool Karaoke ride with James Corden if you haven't in a minute.
