Rappers Bas and J.Cole recently combined forces for the gritty song "Night Job." The track features on the latter MC's record Too High to Riot, which released last week on J. Cole's Dreamville Records. The video for "Night Job" dropped today (Mar. 8), and it's a dimly-lit piece that draws attention to the fiery, lyrical aspects of the song. Watch it above. 

It's easy to see that the two MCs feed off each other's energy, building up their flows with increasing trickery and precision. Bas—real name Abbas Hamad—has a penchant for incorporating his own personal narrative into much of his lyrics, which often make for heavy-hitting bars.
