Public service announcement: Bridget Jones is about to do the motherhood thing. In her first trip to the big screen since 2004's Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, Renée Zellweger's character will appear in Bridget Jones's Baby, due Sept. 16.

This time around, as the new trailer shows up, Jones is rocking the single life in the vicinity of Ed Sheeran, muddy music festivals and, again, Colin Firth. No sign of Hugh Grant, though. McDreamy himself, Patrick Dempsey looks like the main co-star here, as Jones gets pregnant with him. Probably him.

Director Sharon Maguire is returning after directing the original film, Bridget Jones's Diary, in 2001. (She didn't do 2004's Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason.) British novelist Helen Fielding, the character's creator, co-wrote the screenplay for the third time in a row, this time working with One Day author David Nicholls.
