America loves a good TV president. The latest actor told hold the oval office in a major television series is Bryan Cranston, who plays Lyndon Baines Johnson on HBO's forthcoming historical drama All The Way. Once an affable sitcom Dad on Malcolm in the Middle, Cranston is now an esteemed Oscar-nominated actor, who won a Tony-award when All The Way was a Broadway production.

Watch the show's trailer above, and peep Cranston in all of LBJ's squinty-eyed, presidential-glory.

All The Way captures Johnson's first year as "accidental president" after the assassination of John F. Kennedy in 1963. Cranston is joined by Melissa Leo as Lady Bird Johnson and Anthony Mackie, who plays Martin Luther King. The show airs on HBO May 28 and sees Jay Roach direct.
