Flavor Flav, the Public Enemy hype man and reality TV star, appeared on Salt Lake City, Utah’s Fox 13 to deliver the weather forecast to Utah citizens. “Yeeaahh boy! Yeah, that’s right. Y’all thought they was jokin’. I’m really here, you know what I’m sayin’?”
“To bring y’all the weather not only for the good but for the better,” he said. “You know what I’m sayin'? I ain’t playin’, and it’s all in the message that we are relayin'.”
Whether he should pursue a career as a meteorologist is up for debate. Flav mispronounced Elko, Nevada as “Echo,” and proceeded to say, “Hello! Hello! Hello!”
Flavor Flav ended the forecast by thanking both the team at Fox 13 and his brother who works in the area as an athletic director at West High School. Earlier in the week, Fox 13 reported that Flavor Flav stopped by West High School to deliver a message about education.
“There’s a lot of people that’s not going to be as lucky as I am, you know what I’m saying, who don't have a diploma, and it’s real hard to get a job out here without a diploma, man, you know what I’m saying? So, I just don't want to see them make the same mistakes I did and a lot of other people did.”
