After regrouping for the 2012 comeback album Not Your Kind of PeopleGarbage is continuing on strong as ever with a new record coming this year.

The defining alt-rock outfit have released details on their forthcoming sixth LP, Strange Little Birds, which will be released this summer. Longtime fans will be happy to hear that the band sees this new record as very reminiscent of Garbage's self-titled debut album from 1995.

"To me, this record, funnily enough, has the most to do with the first record than any of the previous records," leader Shirley Manson said in a statement. "It's getting back to that beginner's headspace. In part, that's a result of not having anyone to answer to."

Strange Little Birds will drop on June 10 via Garbage's own STUNVOLUME label. See the tracklist and album artwork below:
