Iggy Azalea dropped her new Digital Distortion single, "Team," on Friday morning, and a promo visit to L.A.'s Power 106 ended up going to a dark, honest place. Asked on The Cruz Show what her lowest point in the fiercest season of Iggy-hate was, she had trouble working it out.

"Ummm...that's tough," said the 25-year-old, "'cause it was so many times that it was like, 'That's the lowest,' and then it was like, 'No, no, we're going a little lower.'" She and DJ J Cruz had some laughs about it, but things got more serious from there. "There were times when I just wanted to quit life, the whole thing," Iggy said. "Like my whole life."

Asked point-blank if she had pondered suicide, she answered:

“Sometimes I did. Sometimes I would drive through the canyons to get to my horses and I’d be like, ‘What if I just kept driving off the canyon?’ Sometimes I would feel like that.”

Iggy said it wasn't so much the endless commentary that bothered her but the fear of losing her career, which could, visa-wise, mean her having to exit America a decade after leaving Australia. Iggy's horses and her fiancé, L.A. Lakers player Nick Young, helped her find a way through. It seems more and more guaranteed she'll have lots to pour out on Digital Distortion.
