In a heated Twitter exchange with Donald Trump, Jr., son of the presidential hopeful, the GRAMMY-winning singer John Legend called Donald Trump a racist.

Donald Trump, Jr. tweeted last night in reference to the shutdown of his father’s Chicago rally. “Ha 5 students when asked why they were protesting couldn’t even answer. The participation medal/micro aggression generation is pretty sad!” John Legend replied, “I think they were protesting your racist father. This isn’t complicated.”

In response, Donald Trump, Jr. tweeted, “Here we go again. That can’t be the answer for everything you don’t like. That’s why the country is so divided now!” The conversation continued when another Twitter user suggested that Legend had no education. Legend answered, “the Donalds and I graduated from the same University, funny enough.”
