Did you ever think, "Hey, I love watching Kiefer Sutherland on 24, but I really wish I could listen to him sing folky tunes while I'm driving to work"? Sutherland has heard your wishes.
The Man Who Was Jack Bauer has announced that he'll be releasing a "folk-tinged" album, called Down in a Hole, this summer. The project has 11 tracks and will feature Sutherland on vocals and guitar. He'll be touring in support of the debut LP as well.
Sutherland said in a statement.
“It’s the closest thing I’ve ever had to a journal or diary. All of these songs are pulled from my own personal experiences. There is something very satisfying about being able to look back on my own life, good times and bad, and express those sentiments in music.”
Sutherland's musical talents shouldn't be surprising to those who have been paying close attention. The actor has his own record label, which he created in 2002 with singer Jude Cole.
