M83 are back with a new, operatic single called "Solitude," which is to be released on the band's forthcoming record Junk, out April 8. It's slow-burning and heavy on the funeral synths, and really captures a lovelorn vibe. Listen to "Solitude" above.

M83 have been reclusive, at least in terms of album-output in recent years: Junk will be the group's first record since Hurry Up We're Dreaming released in 2011. To compensate for the lack of activity, bandleader Anthony Gonzalez says there'll be a glut of special guests on the group's seventh record, like Beck and Susanne Sundfør. M83 will embark on a massive United States and European tour this summer to support the new release.

Earlier this month, M83 released the lead single from Junk—a mega-dance track with slappy bass and wobbly synths called "Do It Try It."
