At Wondercon 2016 in Los Angeles, Netflix revealed new information regarding original programming they have planned.

Netflix has partnered with Dreamworks Animation for the upcoming series Voltron: Legendary Defender. At Wondercon, footage was premiered, followed by a panel of producers and the cast. Created by Peter Keefe and John Teichmann, the 1984-85, original Voltron: Defender of the Universe was a cult-classic, animated TV series about a team of young pilots who commanded five robot lions to form Voltron, an even larger, weapon-wielding robot.

The L.A. Times confirmed the reboot’s cast members and reported on the panel that included executive producer Joaquim Dos Santos, co-executive producer Lauren Montgomery, and writer Tim Hedrick. Voicing the Voltron characters will be Jeremy Shada from Adventure Time, Bex Taylor-Klaus from The Last Witch Hunter, Josh Keaton from the Green Lantern: The Animated Series, Kimberly Brooks from the video game Mass Effect, Rhys Darby from Flight of the Conchords, Steven Yeun from The Walking Dead, and Tyler Labine from Tucker and Dale vs. Evil.

The first 13 episodes of Voltron: Legendary Defender will be released on Netflix on June 10. Watch the teaser trailer above.
