Panic! at the Disco frontman Brendon Urie used to be into Vine in a big way before discovering Periscope. Apparently last year he was using the social media platform to share intimate piano performances including a few covers. This one bypassed us somehow, but it's too excellent not to share: Urie decided to tackle Halsey's hit "New Americana."

Because it's just Brendon tickling the ivories, there's a certain slow, romantic air to his rendition of the song.

We're sure the Badlands singer must've loved Urie's take—she's said on more than one occasion that Panic! was one of her favorite bands growing up, and that she loves their 2005 debut album A Fever You Can't Sweat Out. Join the club!
